The Single Fin Mingle is a four-day celebration of longboarding, art, music, and people, all set in the beautiful seaside town of Sumner, Christchurch. We’ve been stoked to be a part of managing this much-loved gathering for the past four years, supporting everything from the surf contest to film nights, live gigs and a street party, and plethora of laid-back community events with some of the best people we have ever met. Can’t really compare this one to anything else we have worked on.

Our final year of Mingle (for now) was a full-circle kind of moment. We scaled things up behind the scenes to match the event’s growing reputation, all while keeping things light on the ground. Surf, sound, sunshine and community - this one reminded us why we signed on in the first place. Huge love to the Mingle whānau for having us along on the journey.

The 10th anniversary edition and a special one to be part of. With a decade of good times behind it, this year’s Mingle hit a new high. We sorted all of the behind the scenes, helping bring a stacked schedule to life with an incredible team of volunteers. The legendary street party sold out (for good reason), the surf delivered, and the community showed up in full force. A milestone year with all the right energy.

2023 saw the Mingle energy build and the programme grow. We helped deliver a bigger, brighter schedule - with the launch of Mingle in the Village, a live music bar hop that brought Sumner’s venues to life across one unforgettable evening. From locking in logistics to keeping the good times flowing, we kept things afloat while the streets and beach buzzed with the people of the Mingle and the sound of happy chaos.

12 - 15 MAY 2022
Our first year at The Mingle - and the first time the iconic street party hit the actual street (goodbye carpark, hello road). We jumped in across all corners of the event, from beach setups to late-night pack-downs. The beach was pumping, the gigs were packed, and Sumner turned it on. An unforgettable intro to a truly one-of-a-kind gathering.
