Now heading into their tenth season, the Church Road Summer Sessions have become a staple of the Hawke’s Bay calendar. Easy, sun-soaked Sundays filled with great local music, good wine, and even better company. Each week brings a fresh lineup of acoustic acts from across the region, set against the backdrop of the Church Road lawns and framed by the hill and vineyard views.

Our role has grown alongside the event - supporting operations and programming a series that feels both laid-back and lovingly curated. With tasty summer foodtruck treats, Church Road wine in hand, and a rotating soundtrack of local talent, these sessions capture everything we love about summer in the Bay. Just bring a sunhat and a picnic rug and we’ll take care of the rest.

Join us on the lawn for five Sundays of great local music, good food, and easy summer afternoons. From 12pm - 4.30pm soak up the sounds from some of Hawke’s Bay’s best acoustic acts while you enjoy a platter, a glass of Church Road wine, and something tasty from one of our favourite Hawkes Bay food vendors. Pack a rug or some chairs, throw on a sunhat, and we’ll see you on the lawn.
